Retail Store Manager - Noosa Heads
Role Purpose
The Noosa Heads Store Manager is more than just a retail leader; you’re the face of Australia for thousands of locals and tourists walking through our doors each week.
This is your chance to represent one of Australia’s most iconic brands at one of its most famous beaches. Your mission is to bring the Aussie spirit to life in-store: laid-back charm, larrikin humour, and an unforgettable customer experience that keeps people smiling long after they’ve left.
You’ll split your time between leading the Noosa store four days a week and spending one day out in the community, connecting with surf clubs, schools, local businesses, and partners to strengthen our roots in the Noosa lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities
Noosa Store Operations
- Lead the Noosa store to create a retail experience as vibrant and fun as the brand
- Keep shelves stocked with fresh designs and weekly drops
- Recruit, train, and inspire a passionate casual team who proudly wear the brand
- Plan rosters around weather, events, and seasonal traffic: Noosa is always buzzing!
- Act as the eyes and ears of the store, reporting wins, challenges, and feedback weekly to head office
Be the Face of Budgy (& Australia)
- Deliver best-in-class customer service that leaves people grinning
- Keep the store looking schmick and sales pumping
- Know the product range inside-out and help customers find their perfect pair
- Create memorable moments through in-store events and brand activations
Build the Noosa Community
- Spend one day per week out in the community meeting local legends, surf clubs, schools, restaurants, fitness groups, sports clubs
- Partner with the Retail and Marketing teams to plan pop-up events and activations
- Grow the Budgy community through authentic local connections
What We’re Looking For
- A genuine love for summer, Budgy Smuggler, and all things Aussie
- 2+ years of retail leadership experience, ideally in fashion or lifestyle brands
- A magnetic personality that draws people in and keeps them coming back
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Event or community engagement experience (bonus)
- Thrives in dynamic, high-energy environments

Production & Inventory Coordinator
About the Role
As the Production Coordinator, you’ll play a pivotal role in our local manufacturing supply chain and production operations. You’ll collaborate with local manufacturers, designers, and logistics to ensure our Australian-made swimwear meet Budgy Smuggler’s high standards and speedy turnaround times.
You’ll take ownership of local production schedules, quality control, and inventory management, while keeping our internal teams and customers in the loop every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Production Coordination: Maintain production timelines for custom, DIY, and stock swimwear orders with turnaround times as tight as 10-20 days.
- Manufacturer Liaison: Work closely with local manufacturers to confirm schedules, track progress, and troubleshoot any delays.
- Quality Control: Ensure all products meet Budgy Smuggler’s quality standards through pre- and post-production checks.
- Inventory Management: Create and update product listings on Shopify, manage barcodes, and monitor supplies to avoid production delays.
- Team Collaboration: Act as the go-to person for customer service and internal teams for order updates, status visibility, and process improvements.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates to the Supply Chain Manager and Marketing Team on production progress, inventory levels, and product performance.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
- Proven Experience: 2+ years in production coordination, supply chain, or a related field (apparel or swimwear experience is a bonus).
- Organisational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, with experience liaising across teams and with external suppliers.
- Tech Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory/supply chain management software.
- Problem-Solving: Proactive and resourceful approach to overcoming challenges.
- Reliability: A key role that requires dependability and consistency.
Preferred, but not essential:
- A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- Experience in the fashion or retail industry.
