Social Media & Community Coordinator
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Manly, NSW.

Budgy Smuggler is one of Australia's most iconic and irreverent brands, and we're looking for a switched-on Social Media & Community Coordinator to be the daily heartbeat of our online presence. This may be an entry-level role, but it's more than that. You'll have full ownership of our channels and a genuine impact on how the brand shows up online every day.
What you'll be doing
- Engaging with comments, DMs and mentions across Instagram, TikTok and Facebook in a tone that sounds like us (Australian, bold and cheeky but never corporate).
- Posting reactive, lo-fi content and jumping on trends fast; speed over polish
- Writing captions and replies that genuinely sound like Budgy Smuggler - always throwing in a bit of bants.
- Spotting emerging formats and cultural moments early and flagging opportunities to the team.
- Resharing UGC and amplifying ambassador and influencer collabs.
- Tracking weekly engagement metrics and reporting to the Marketing Manager.
What we're looking for
- A genuine love and feel for social media; you're online, you get the culture, you spot trends early
- Strong writing instincts and a natural sense of humour
- Comfort shooting and posting casual, phone-first content
- Someone fast, proactive and hard to rattle - you're a great balance of very organised and also reactive.
- Previous social media experience is a bonus, but not essential. Attitude, instinct and aligning with the team culture matter more.
