Royal Far West is an Australian children’s charity providing vital supports to improve the health and wellbeing of country children. It is celebrating 100 years of supporting healthy country kids.    

The artwork from this design was created by proud Wiradjuri woman, and contemporary Aboriginal artist, Skye Burton.  

"Yirbamagi Gadhang (Wiradjuri for ‘To Go To The Ocean’) brings to life the vibrant colours of Royal Far West’s logo, illustrating the majestic migration of Gawura (whales) through Saltwater Country, passing by Royal Far West.  

Every year, the Gawura journey’s through these waters to birth and care for their calves before heading back to the colder southern seas. The artwork beautifully portrays Gawura swimming playfully among underwater coral beds and ocean currents, their curious young ones by their side.

This voyage reflects the path of families coming to Royal Far West—travelling across the land to ensure their children reach their full potential, ready for future learning. Just like Gawura, these families find time by the ocean to connect, create memories, and experience the natural beauty around them, forming bonds with the land and sea."

A percentage of profits from this pair will be donated directly to Royal Far West to help with its mission of ensuring every country child has access to the services they need to support their early development and enrich their lives.
